Nineteen OCs gathered at Lamberhurst G.C. for the 19th OCA Golf Day where they enjoyed another brilliant sunny day and a course in good condition, which provided a fair test of golf.
The day consisted of lunch, 18 holes of golf and drinks taken on the clubhouse terrace in the evening sunshine, where the award of prizes took place. The Donald Robathan Trophy was won by Keith Wookey, who scored 40 Stableford points playing off a handicap of 11 – a really good performance. Jeremy Barham and Jeremy Philpot each scored 39 points. Other prizes included those presented to Ken Watson, who hit nearest the Pin on both the 7th and 17th Holes; Richard Hillier, who drove the straightest on the 13th Hole and Mike Jakob, who launched the longest Drive on the15th Hole.
