Rob Casserley (1994) is off on his adventures again currently rowing the Atlantic Ocean followed by an attempt to climb Mount Everest in late March (for the 6th time) - all in aid of Marie-Curie Cancer Care charity.Rob says, "The Atlantic Ocean from San Sebastian de La Gomera to English Harbour (Antigua) is 2250 nautical miles as the crow flies, but with currents, wind, adverse conditions et al, we'll probably row between 2700 nm to 3100 nm".
He is keen for you to follow his progress. Please check out the official race website www.atlanticrowingrace09.com.
Rob's boat name is Ocean Summit and his website, www.ocean2summit.com, will allow you to find his exact position and track his progress. You can also follow him on twitter.
